BOD Week 1 Page 2 "Sweet Dreams"

Ok, Not so sweet dreams! UGH! I hate this page! I thought I would throw in one of my "quirky" works into the BOD book....:(( Me no likey! Ahhh well I am stuck with it now I guess, it is already attached to page one. ****I forgot to add the story behind this page...dreams of the past....the image symbolizes birth of my children and missing those days of when they were just babies....and now going thru the pre menapausal crap lol ...wishing I could have just one more baby...but that is not possible now....Just have to wait for grandchildren to spoil rotten hehehe

Gonna go out of town for the weekend and come back Sunday evening. Hope I come back feeling better about this page lol

Anywho, I couldn't resist my Art Journal, so I am also posting one of my Journal art pages below. Now this one I am happy with. Too bad this one didn't make it into the BOD book.

Have a great weekend all!
Happy Creating,

Hello Michelle! Glad you took a look-see, Thanks! Yes, I just found out yesterday that Teesha has a blog...woohoo lol...she is one of my fav artist..I found her by chance just browsing about year and a half ago...I wasn't even into collage at that time and I was working on sculptures then...but after visiting her site I was hooked!

I like them both. I don't know why you hate it. Chalk it up to experience and keep going! :) Do you have three brothers? I have two, but I loved the image you chose.

Thanks Tara! I suppose your right! I got a good giggle about the brothers...The funny thing is I only have 2...When I looked at a photo I had and these 3 guys sitting there "Brothers 3" was the first thing that popped into my head. I sure needed that laugh..Thank you! Not going out of town after all. :((

I have two brothers, one sister, and I'm the youngest. :) I'll be in tonight, but leaving early in the morning to go see my brother. I'll be back, so Sunday will be art all day long. :) (I'll be really grumpy and irritable come Monday morning since I will not want to go to work but stay and keep doing art.)

That's funny. My brothers are the oldest. (I once met a girl who had the same name as my sister, and her sister's name was the same as mine! I thought that was a funny coincidence.) Back home now, and trying to do a page in the BOD--the eyes are burning for sleep. :)

I like sweet dreams too! I have ripped a page out before, but try not to very often. sometimes I don't like looking at my art from the past. I think it's the pieces where I put alot of emotion into it. but that's the great thing about art journals...we can turn the page!!!!:) see you soon in dream book land! I'm going to do a page in mine tomorrow when kids get back in school!

artjunk...thanks and thanks again! I dont like looking back either...but when you do it shows you whether in art or life how far youve come and how much you have learned...Im going to leave that page in the book...for one;experience and two; I cant take it out its the other side of the first page LOL
